Magistrate Class (v0.1)
A downloadable class
This document represents incomplete playtest content.
It may not be balanced. Please try it out for yourself and let me know how it goes!
All are equal in the eyes of the law. But Justice is blind, making it all too easy for the wicked and unscrupulous to escape their due retribution.
Magistrates deliver reckoning to those who have evaded or cheated the law. They go where conventional justice is unable or unwilling to reach, upholding the law when no one else will.
Magistrates find success by understanding their enemies abilities and routines, and using the flow of battle to their advantage.
Court is in Session!
The Magistrate is a new class for the Fabula Ultima TTJRPG. What started as an idea sparked by one of my friends misremembering the name of the Loremaster Class has now developed into a fully-fledged Class!
The Magistrate specializes in generating 'laws' that forbid certain actions and events, and delivering punishment on anyone who breaks those laws.
Depending on how your GM runs combat, the Magistrate can provide a helpful degree of battlefield control by discouraging enemies from performing certain actions, or reward Players for Studying enemies and paying attention to their routines and patterns.
But watch out! If used carelessly, your laws can cause harm to your allies instead of your enemies!
